Gorgon River Wines is a dynamic and organic boxed wine marketed towards casual wine drinkers who are concerned about cost and interested in sustainability. The brand is inspired by an early depiction of the gorgon Medusa.
The personality of this brand is much different than many of my previous projects, and I enjoyed exploring different styles. One thing I learned is that your concept can be as strange as you want, as long as everything within the brand’s visual identity is cohesive.
This was my first project in a cube format, which required me to have each side’s design work together as one. This was hard for me to picture theoretically, and creating multiple prototypes throughout the design process allowed me to make sure everything fit together correctly.
